Invited Artist

Her first interactions in the art world began at an early age. To develop her technique in painting and drawing she took classes with José Pérez, from the Liceo de Arte del Sur. From 2010 to 2012 she completed her high school studies at the Escuela Especializada de Bellas Artes in Ponce. In 2016 she began post-secondary studies for her artistic development in the Binary Program of B.A. and Master of Arts with a Specialty in Painting and Drawing from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico, Ponce Campus. During that year she worked in art activities at the Fray Pedro College for Deaf Children. During 2018 that she participated in the collective exhibitions Corredor de Arte in Plaza del Caribe in Ponce, Instalaciones 605 at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico, Ponce Campus, and Los Corazones de Ponce, a public art exhibition in Ponce. Although her main mediums have been drawing and painting, this time she takes the opportunity to present mixed media artworks. The artworks presented in this exhibition work with digital art intervened with various mediums and materials such as drawing, photography, charcoal, and shredded leaves.
