Invited Artist

After obtaining a bachelor's degree in Biology, she continued graduate studies towards a Master's in Plastic Arts with a specialty in Painting and Drawing at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. As an art student she had the opportunity to present in the collective exhibition of her university, POS, in 2018. Also, she was part of La Campechada of 2018 which was held for the first time in Mayagüez. During her last year of study she had the opportunity to present her first solo exhibition, Experiences Lived at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico, Ponce Campus. She has worked with various media and materials, including acrylic, watercolor, pencil, pen, and photography. The works presented in this exhibition are a sample of the works created under the Traces of Fear exhibition, which is proposed as a response to her solo exhibition, Experiences Lived. The artist explores in these works the effect of sound waves in acrylic on canvas.
